2011, what happened?

Well, it’s kind of difficult to have a look back, because I have done so many things and the last semester and this one too was so stressful and busy, but I will write about it anyway.
This year began very well because I learned so many things about teaching skills for example, or about new methodologist, etc., I met new great foreign teachers, like Judy Baker, Pixita del Prado and Jennifer Herbs, I had very interesting subjects too, in which I learned so interesting things about English Teacher of course, and I got very good marks, and hope keeping that.
Speaking about University, this second semester I started the practical in first grade at “Calazans”, a school in “Ñuñoa”. I love to go there, because this new experience is most interesting and challenging, so I had to do an activity for the children, and it was OK, I did a good job, and  I pretty sure that I want to be an English Teacher and I love the kids, they are amazing.
In personal terms, well, I can say that this year was a very good one in terms of relationships, because I knew in a better way some of my classmates, and I liked it because they are so fun and cheerful. My relationship with my boyfriend it’s very good, I can’t say bad about him. My relationship with my sister it’s very good too, she is like my mother, so she is always taking care of me as always, and I love that, I love that she is still with me every single year.
In economics terms this year was so great, because I started teaching English to two girls, Sofia (6 years old) and Emilia (11 years old). I like to do that because I have learned so much about this experience, which is hard, because is my first approach to. These classes brought me good money, so that is good too. And I started too to sell “Natura” and I like it because is fun, and bring me good money too, so I can do more things with my new resources.
Finally I just want to say that I hope that the next year will be in the same good level or better, and I promise that I will do the effort to improve my English.

Something that I looked forward to for a long time that finally happened.

Well… I think that it is very stupid what I will say, but is something that just came up to my mind.
When I was 8 years old, I loved a cartoon called “sailor moon”, that was a series cartoon about a cat that had especial power, and she talks. Luna (the cat) had a mission, she had to find out 5 girls with especial powers too, but those 5 girls didn’t know about their powers.
Luna found out the 5 girls, and they had to fight in the name of the moon, and the leader Serena she had a love story with a man Toxido Max, a good man that fight for the peace too.
So I loved this series, and I always watched all the episodes every afternoon after school.
At that time was so popular that “Soprole” a brand of yogurt and milk, realized an album of that series, and I had to put the yogurt lid in the album, so I ate more yogurt than ever in my entire life because I was looked forward the doll of Serena for a very long time, so that was my opportunity to got it.
I collected albums before this one, but I never had been won a prize of an album so I was really expecting win the big prize (the doll) and I did so much effort to get it, so I deserved.
Well, finally I could complete the album at the time, and I send the album to the company and I wait.
Finally one day I arrived home after school, and when I was entering in the living room I saw the doll, and I died. It was a very good moment because I wanted so much, and happened.
Nowadays I have no idea where is that doll…

A teacher I'll never forget

When you think about teachers that you had in your life you inmmediately makes an unconcious categorization, between good and bad teachers. When you are at school your categorization is influenced by  feelings mostly, because you are not able to recognice a good or bad teacher yet with objectivity.

When you are at university in the begining it's not so different, but when you got more experience, and especially if you are studying education you can make a more objective categorization. You can recognize who is teaching you real things, who is teaching you something that really will help you in your life and you always think about what he or she said to you or taught you.

Nowadays I can say that I had very mediocre teachers at school because I don't have any good memories of them. I can say that a few were interested in my learning, especially in maths, in which I was awful, and  I had teachers that were very sympathic, but nobody left me a kind of "mark" on my life.

At university I've meet really good teachers, maybe can because I am studying something that I chose, and a place that I chose too. So everything is different, the experience, the classmates, and especially the teachers. For example last semester I had an native English speaker teacher called Pixita Del Prado. I just fell in love with her, because she taught me so many things, she helped me to decide what I want in my future, in professional terms, and she was very sympathic, patien, and really concerned about us. So she left a "mark" in my life. Another teacher that I admire is Virginia Fernández, because she knows a lot, she always helps me, and she showed us how to be a good teacher, a teacher that everyone will remember, because you do a good job.

I just hope to be a good teacher, and I will fight for it.

My favourite place of town!

Well, I am not a fan of Santiago city, but it has some good places that I can enjoy with my boyfriend, because we have discovered those places in our walks in the last  three years.

The first place is in Brazil's square it is a square called "Concha y Toro". I love that place because I remembered my first year of my relationship, because my boyfriend some day told me "I will show you a very nice place that I love!". And I love discovering new places, so I accepted. To finish this part I love that place too because it is so quiet, nice, especially when it is spring, the wether  is fantastic and you can sit there and just watch the people that is around, and the dogs playing in the fountain. It's just special for me and my boyfriend, it's kind of romantics been there, I don't know I just love that place!

My boyfriend and I always go out to stroll and sometimes we find good places to visit. For example sometimes we go to the "Chinese Supermarket" in " Patronato" to buy Chinese food and drinks it's so fun because you can find lots of extrange and good things I love it. And near there, there is a place that Arabic people sell Arabic food like "Shawarma". So when we go there we always do the same thing. First we go for a Chinese drink and then for a "Shawarma" and look for more places to eat. As you can realize we love eating!

Another place that I love and my boyfriend too it is in "Barrio Republica" he show me that place too, because he knows that I love eating. He show me a place in which exist a shop and sells "AS gigantes" just for $700 it's so cheap and the bread and the mayonnaise it sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!
ahhaha!. And it's very special that place because then you have to eat on the street and just enjoy. I recommend it you, you wouldn't regret!

Finally I can say that I just love strolling in different places and discover new places to relax, like "Parque Araucano" or new places to eat with my boyfriend.

He the best partner I love you sunshine <3.

I don't know why...

Is that a river? And what it is that smell? It’s horrible, it’s like…dog poo or something like that, and Yuk… and I can perceive a lot of dogs too, why? Where am I … am I sleeping or what? I have to open my eyes? Yes! I was sleeping and I am in a forest!! Why am I here? Where was I before this forest? What’s happening? Am I alone? I feel a little scared because I am so confused I don’t understand anything, and I can’t see anything and I don’t know this place, and it’s so quiet…wait a minute I can hear something! What is it? I think it’s a man or maybe more than one…I am not sure I hope they can help me and tell me Where am I, because I am so hungry and it is a little cold. I want to go home. I will wait here and see who they are…
They are close, I can see them now. OH my god they are like five people and they don’t look friendly, they are angry…and they are shouting my name and discussing  something. They mentioned the name of my father! Why? They know him? And they know me? I have to run or wait? What didi I do?Oh my god I am so afraid I don’t know what to do…
They found me…and they are looking at , and I asked who they were? And they just took me and put me in a suitcase. Why I did? Why is this happening this to me? I was so tired that I fell sleep because the road was so long…
When I woke up I was in a big place without anything just a bottle of water I was more confused than before, but I remembered those people talking about my father. Maybe I have been captured because they want money for me. My father’s money!! OH my god that makes sense. I have to do something, but what? I have my phone in my pocket! How lucky am I! it have to be a kidding…I don’t have battery to call anyone…
After that I can’t remember anything maybe I had a blackout…I don’t know…
I just can’t say that I never saw my family again and I went through the worse things in the world…

Education...

n  First of all I think that everyone has the right to say whatever they want, but of course in an appropriate way. I also think that some of the things that should change, especially in education. Because we know that is not the best and we know too that the actual government can do it because the president has the strategies to do it. On the other hand I disagree with the student's leaders, because they are so extremist, they always wants more and more, its never enought for them, and they don’t think that if the government says NO it’s because they can’t, and they must know that this is a developing country  so maybe the country really doesn’t have the tools and the money.

n  Personally, I think that it’s ok if you want to express your way of thinking, your opinion, your idealist, but I think that it is important too, the way that you do it because you can’t express your opinion if you cross the line between your space and the space of the others. And that’s what I think is wrong in the way that they are doing it because when you give the pass to march in the street and do something peacefully, unfortunately there are people that don't have the appropriate education, people that cross that space that I mentioned before, and I think that the government should take a strong position when their make their decisions. For example if they says “If you destroy the city, you will have to pay for that with communitary work”

n  And do not allow more “marches, because the uneducated people go there and destroy everything without reason, and it is not fair.

n  I think that the student's leaders should rethink their petitions, and think about what is possible, and the government must explain why they can’t make some of the changes, maybe that will help the student's leaders.
